What is the official Cavs Rewards program?

Available to ALL fans nationally, the official Cavs Rewards program allows anyone to earn Cavs Points when shopping at Cavs Rewards locations such as Giant Eagle, Jet’s Pizza, and more - online or in-store. As your points balance increases, you'll start redeeming amazing rewards such as Game Day Tickets, Exclusive Experiences, Official Team Merchandise, Cavs Memorabilia, and much more.

Is there a cost to join?

No, Cavs Rewards is free for fans to join.

How do I create my Cavs Rewards account?

Simply create a free user account by downloading the Cleveland Cavaliers mobile app for iOS or Android or visiting Cavs.com and selecting the “Cavs Rewards” option from the menu. Connect your preferred credit or debit card to the program and start earning Cavs Points on your daily shopping with Cavs Rewards locations such as grocery stores, quick service restaurants, gas stations, and more.

How can I earn Cavs points?

Earn Cavs points with every in-store or online purchase at Cavs Rewards locations, the Cavaliers Team Shop, and in-venue purchases at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Can I earn points for scanning receipts?

Yes! You can earn points by purchasing specified consumer packaged goods (CPG) from designated retailers. Just scan your receipt via the Cavs Rewards section inside of the Cavs mobile app or website. Receipts must show a clear date, retailer name, and purchased items, and be submitted within 30 days of purchase for eligibility. The card linked to your Cavs Rewards account is not required to earn points for these types of item-level purchases.

Do I need to use my phone or display a QR code when making an in-store purchase?

No, just use the credit or debit card that is linked to your Cavs Rewards account.

How do I know which brands are eligible points earning locations?

All Cavs Rewards locations are listed inside the “Earn” section of the Cavs Rewards experience.

Can I earn points for referring other people to sign up?

Yes! For every person that signs up using your personal referral link, you both will earn 500 bonus points.

When will the points I earn show up in my Cavs Rewards account?

Shopping With Linked Card: Points will be added to your Cavs Rewards account once the transaction moves from pending to posted on your bank or credit card statement. This usually occurs within a few business days, depending on your financial institution.

Receipt Scanning: Points will be added to your Cavs Rewards account immediately.

Referrals: Once your friends sign up and create a Cavs Rewards account, you will see those points on your account.

What rewards can I redeem with my points?

How often will new rewards be added to the program?

Cavs Rewards is a 24/7, 365 program. New rewards will be added year-round, even during the offseason. This means you can earn Cavs points any day of the year.

Do points expire and is there a limit on what I can redeem?

Points expire one (1) year from the date you earn them. There is no limit on what you can choose to redeem with your points.

How does the rewards redemption process work?

Our Cavs Rewards program uses dynamic pricing to make sure you get the best value for your points. Here's how it works:

Starting Price: When a new reward becomes available, it starts at a set number of points.

Price Drops: If the reward isn't claimed right away, its price in points will gradually decrease over time.

Claim It When You're Ready: You can choose to claim the reward at any point during this process. If you think the current price is right for you, redeem your points!

Limited Time Offers: Keep in mind that rewards may have a time limit or a minimum price. Once the price reaches this lower limit, it won't drop any further.

Fair for Everyone: This system ensures that rewards are priced fairly based on demand, giving all fans a chance to get great items and experiences. Don't wait too long, rewards may go fast!

Can I buy more points? Are they refundable?

Cavs Rewards members may purchase pre-fixed amounts of Cavs points. You can do this within the Cavs Rewards experience to redeem a reward faster. All Program points and prizes are non-refundable.

What are digital badges?

Digital badges recognize and reward your status, making every purchase more exciting. Each badge represents a milestone in your Cavs Rewards journey, celebrating your dedication and engagement with the program. The more Cavs points you earn, the more badges you collect, which means more access to additional perks such as Bonus Points, Boosted Earning Opportunities, and more.

Can I sell or trade my points to other people?

Points, prizes, and badges may not be re-sold or transferred to other users.

What is the value of my points?

Points do not have any monetary value; they can only be used within the Cavs Rewards program.

Can I connect more than one credit/debit card to my account?

Only one card can be connected to your account at any given time.
